The Great Undoing

April 25, 2023 | by Marc Cebrian

David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God has hit the reset button so many times the circuits are blown. The truthfulness of his statements is directly proportional to the number of times he slams his hands on the table.

On April 24, 2023, he delivered “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 437)." This message was highly digestible in comparison to Part 436 last week. Think of Part 437 as a vitamin gummy, while Part 436 was like swallowing chalk.

There was no need to watch the video or listen a second time to follow along. It is sometimes scary when the Pastor General actually makes sense and how he pieces the Bible together to seemingly click into place. There were a lot of Lego pieces snapping in Part 437 that even I could understand.

For those who loath Herbert W. Armstrong and The Worldwide Church of God, listening to Part 437 will feel like Christmas morning when you got that bicycle. David C. Pack handed out new cars in the driveway packaged in gift-wrapping paper for you folks.

“Old Timers” who joined The Restored Church of God BECAUSE the teachings of Herbert W. Armstrong and The Worldwide Church of God were upheld, well…those folks got a steaming pile left in their stockings. Please forgive the Christmas analogy at the end of April.

David C. Pack performed much undoing during Part 437. The undoing of his previous teachings. The undoing of his role. The undoing of the importance of Herbert W. Armstrong.

What Dave cannot undo is years of fraud, lies, blasphemy, and failure. But, you’ve gotta start somewhere.

David C. Pack is commissioned to set dates—Undone
Herbert W. Armstrong identified the Sixth Head—Undone
Judas is NOT the Man of Sin—Undone

To help make it plain, those major points are reworded:

David C. Pack is NOT commissioned to set dates. That is not his job.

Herbert W. Armstrong was wrong when he identified Adolf Hitler as the “one is” king from Revelation 17:10. It was impossible to be Hitler. It is David C. Pack’s commission to teach the Sixth Head correctly at the time of the end.

Judas IS the Man of Sin after stating he was not in Part 436.

One thing is for sure, my Rosetta Stone subscription that includes “Between the Lines” as a language has really paid for itself with Part 437.

David C. Pack does not declare that Herbert W. Armstrong’s prophetic understanding has been reduced to 0.01%, but he leads us down that road to abandon us before we cross the final threshold on our own.

David C. Pack does not declare that Judas Iscariot is the Man of Sin, but he leads us down that road to abandon us before we cross the final threshold on our own.

David C. Pack does not reject the second Passover being the May 5 Kingdom of God, but he leads us down that road to abandon us before we cross the final threshold on our own.

The man really knows how to make things plain* spotted with asterisks.

*Barry Bonds fans can remember that move.

Undone #1 – David C. Pack’s Job

The summary at the end sets up what was presented earlier.

Part 437 – April 24, 2023
@ 1:13:59 Now, I wanna just formally say something. I’ve come to see my charge. I wish I had seen this long ago. And I guess I’m guilty of what my father in the gospel would do, and even when I tried not to do it, the Bible would lead ya into thinking you saw it. I’ve come to see my charge as not either to set the day of Christ’s coming or when the Kingdom of God comes soon after or even the year that it would happen.

See why brethren need to be bilingual in English and Between the Lines? Is he saying we need to cancel our large-table reservations for Happy Hour on Cinco de Mayo? Is the second Passover no longer important?

@ 1:14:23 It is to explain the Mystery of God, including the Kingdom to Israel. The Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Heads, the three measures of the kingdoms of God and their lengths. And, of course, now, finally, (we'll just repeat again that the Sixth Head. That’s my job.) Then, and let God bring His Kingdom as soon as He will.

It appears Dave is washing his hands of Cinco de Mayo and the second Passover. But he does not say it, so he cannot be held accountable either way. Except, he can. He already made those declarations, and until he formally undoes it, the counter continues to tick down on the front page of exrcg.org.

From the start, he led us down the path of his revised LinkedIn profile that ties into the role of identifying the Man of Sin. Not so much “revealing," but maybe just suggesting someone highly suspicious.

@ 03:09 In Habakkuk, it says my last assignment is to make clear, to make clear what, who, and what, and all that this is.

David C. Pack is in the Bible. His role is prophetic. The Man of Sin is his quarry. That is a repeat, but I also choose to make it plain.

@ 04:49 Now, my job is to make (again) who and what this is. Plain. Right near the end. Then, we are left with a promise that Christ will surely come.

@ 42:14 Now, you’re gonna begin to wonder, when is this first period? And that’s not my job to get into that. I don’t know how much I’m even gonna tell ya about that. I’m almost certain I know exactly when it is. But, my job is to clear up the mystery, make it plain, and when I do, just sit back because it’s supposta be high time for us before we get to the high hour of this group.

  Neener. Neener.

I giggle the whole time I transcribe quotes like this. “I know a secret, but I will not tell you.” No challenge to prove it. No accountability when it fails.

When Dave is backed into a corner, he reminds us what “his job” is. That never includes what he has repeated and failed at for years. After a few dozen botched incidences, the sting causes him to reevaluate and walk away without consequence.

If only this were the first time.

My Job Flashbacks

Flashback Part 382 – July 17, 2022
@ 34:34 “…if we could prove that, then we’d all say we’re still right on time*. That’s what we’d say. My job is to try to remove the last mystery in the last message. Because everybody has to admit we’re very close to out of time*.

His job has always been peppered with asterisks.

Flashback Part 384 – July 26, 2022
@ 29:36 So, you can see how difficult sometimes* it is to pin down exactly how to place some of these things. Part of it’s translations. Part of it is the complexity*. My job is to make it simple, and I'm telling you when this is done, it's simple.

Flashback Part 389 – August 24, 2022
@ 52:41 Therefore, if you’re gonna say the same thing again and it’s a mirror image, it looks like* he didn't say the date the first time either, and I won't do it. And I’m sorry that I ever did*. My job is to “make plain,” according to Habakkuk, “the vision of the Kingdom of God.”

@ 54:09 The men who are close to me know I had an extreme…discomfort* of having to stand up and declare the year. It’s not my job. My job is to tell you what’s gonna happen. I fell into what Mr. Armstrong did and what the apostles did*.

Flashback Part 390 – August 27, 2022
@ 43:24 I’m not commissioned, I’m sorry, to say the year.* I told you three days ago I’m not commissioned to tell you the year. I’m not required to do that. It’s God’s job.

These excuses sound painfully familiar with the same points he just made.

Dave already saw his job was to NOT NOT NOT before. Yet, he somehow keeps falling back into it. With these 2022 flashbacks fresh in mind, revisit yesterday’s quote boiled down to the component parts.

Part 437 – April 24, 2023
@ 1:14:00 I’ve come to see my charge. I wish I had seen this long ago…I’m guilty of what my father in the gospel would do…I’ve come to see my charge as not either to set the day of Christ’s coming…or even the year…it is to explain the Mystery of God…let God bring His Kingdom as soon as He will.

From the undone past brought into the present:

I now understand my job. Check.
If I had seen that sooner. Check.
I did what HWA did. Check.
I should not set dates. Check.
I cannot even say the year. Check.
I explain the Mystery. Check.
God does it in His own time. Check.

David C. Pack must suffer from learning disabilities on top of his personality disorders on top of his mental illnesses. Wow. And this guy runs a church.

Undone #2 – Herbert W. Armstrong’s Credibility

One of the major selling points for The Restored Church of God, when it started in 1999, was upholding the doctrines and standards of Herbert W. Armstrong and The Worldwide Church of God. Many brethren came into RCG over the years because of this carrot dangled over noses.

The RCG literature hammered HWA’s significance into almost every book and booklet produced. But over the years, David C. Pack and the other members of the Packian Triad of Fraud have been chipping away at the garden statue of Old Herbie.

The “WCG Old Timers" will undoubtedly remember the landmark moment when Herbert W. Armstrong and the understanding passed down from The Worldwide Church of God were reduced to single digits.

Dave says "we," but in context, the finger points at HWA and WCG.

Flashback Part 400 – October 22, 2022
@ 06:08 Now, I'm gonna make a statement, and I'm gonna be incredibly generous. And if you're offended at me, get over it…I’m gonna say we had 5% of prophecy right. But, my two assistants will tell you we had under 1%, and I'm being generous because I doubt we had more than 1% of prophecy right.

Inexperienced Coffee Kid and inexperienced Pepper Boy assessed every prophetic understanding The Restored Church of God was built upon. Because all their theories have been so darn accurate.

Yesterday, Dave verbally kissed HWA’s ring while he burnt his legacy to the ground.

Part 437 – April 24, 2023
@ 19:15 The Great Servant Herbert Armstrong, as I love to call him. And he was…

The Great Servant, as Dave loves to call him, was utterly wrong about his most important and foundational “proof” God was using him starting in the 1930s to eventually lead to The Worldwide Church of God. This was paramount proof he was an apostle before he realized it.

Countless RCG ministers counseled prospective members in their homes, showing them from their own Bibles how Herbert W. Armstrong was led by God to fulfill understanding of Revelation 17:10. The founder of WCG (which RCG is modeled after) was the only human being on the face of the earth to EVER correctly understand a prophecy Daniel did not even understand.

Though “I Will Send Elijah To Restore All Things” was retired in 2015, this book spelled out what was repeated for years in sermons about the uniqueness of HWA.

During Part 437, David C. Pack explains that Adolf Hitler was not the Sixth Head, after all. Dave gives his rationale for six minutes explaining why that was impossible, yet never calls his "father in the gospel" a worthless fool. To grasp that point, you must be bilingual in English and Between the Lines.

@ 24:16 So, I’m trying to drive this home. The Sixth Head never came. You hafta come to grips with that. Yet, there's a horn king that precedes the year, with Nebuchadnezzar following it.

@ 25:09 But you’ve got the Sixth Head in front of the one year. You got the Seventh Head in front of the seven years. The Eighth Head in front of the Millennium. Six. Seven Eight. And it just levels out everything. This is truly the Mystery of God coming to an end.

The implications of what that means for the dried corpse on display in the Grand Hallway were yet to be discussed. Perhaps now they can bury those artifacts in the Grand Garden as mulch.

The core legacy of Herbert W. Armstrong has been exposed as fraudulent by the man who idolized him. HWA has been reduced to pure irrelevance by the man who "loves to call him" Great. He loves him and reduced HWA's "generous 5%" to a cold ZERO. Think of how Dave would handle it if he hated the guy. It would be a different ballgame if Joseph W. Tkach revealed the identity of the Sixth Head.

If Herbert W. Armstrong did not correctly unravel the time-sensitive Mystery that began in Daniel 7 and stretched into Revelation 17 with “…five are fallen, and one is, the other is not yet come,” then who did?

David C. Pack. He already claimed that mantle, but you missed it because you are not fluent in Between the Lines.

@ 1:14:12 I’ve come to see my charge…the Sixth Head. That’s my job.

Much like John the Baptist as a type, Herbert must decrease while Dave must increase.

Surely, the unfortunate way that statement came out, “the Sixth Head, that’s my job” is completely un-ironic and is not foreshadowing anything. Just as the next statement was also not prophetically compulsive.

@ 42:40 But, my commission is to make the Sixth Head and all that’s tied to it…there are “days of my voice” where I “make it plain.”

Undone #3 – Not Judas

Brethren would have to suffer amnesia to not remember how much David C. Pack decried Judas as the Man of Sin during Part 436.

Flashback Part 436 – April 20, 2023
@ 24:22 So then, we’re waiting for Christ on the throne of His glory when…He takes out the Man of Sin. Who I do not believe is Judas anymore because he’s part of a system.

@ 37:28 If it’s Judas, well, I guess you have one more reason, then. But I don't believe it is.

@ 1:00:26 Who that Little Horn is is something I’ve never explained one word to you about because I didn’t understand it…If I’d understood it, I’da never said it was Judas.

@ 24:40 He [Man of Sin] is not the Seventh Head and is not Nebuchadnezzar. If he’s Judas, it would be a great surprise. A great surprise.

Surprise! Granted, that was four long days ago. The earth has moved about 10.4 million kilometers since then, so it is natural for Dave to return to what he walked away from.

Dave never puts a bow on the statement “The Man of Sin is Judas,” but he connects all the dots because saying it plainly would make excellent article material. Much like Grammarly, Rosetta Stone’s Between the Lines language learning software is a worthwhile investment.

Part 437 – April 24, 2023
@ 34:47 Of course, Judas was central to that whole figure and that whole picture. We’re gonna have to talk about is Judas the Man of Sin?

Rule of Thumb: Whenever Dave poses a question like this, the answer is ALWAYS yes. He spends twenty minutes “proving” it is.

@ 53:43 If it’s not Judas, wow, then God went out of His way to associate Judas (the only other person in the Bible called the Son of Perdition and the Man of Sin) where almost like the very Azazel goat, sin is gonna be transferred to him in a certain kind of way. I’m not saying that literally. There he is.

With David C. Pack’s new job description, where does that leave the second Passover falsely taught to be on Iyar 15? What about a Cinco de Mayo Kingdom of God? When does the Thimble Kingdom start?

@ 1:05:11 So, you at least know this First Kingdom is ten days. What’s curious about it is in each case, it will tell you…the devil’s about to cast you into prison.

@ 1:05:51 It looks like something in addition to the ten days. But that's all I'm gonna say. I’m 99.9% sure I know what it is, but I’m not gonna say it. It’s not my responsibility. My responsibility is to tell you what’s gonna happen.

Neener. Neener. Ten days from sunset, May 5 is…tonight. Like, right now, tonight.

Dave has been burned too many times by reality, so now he has to play hard to get.

Part of the Great Undoing of Part 437 is the need for Dave to stick to anything he has said before. He threw his hands in the air with a frown, “That’s not my job.” He is giving up.

He has undone Herbert W. Armstrong’s credibility. He has undone his own role, including all accountability.

David C. Pack is a blaspheming liar. He is a false apostle and a false prophet. He preaches a false gospel about a false jesus and a false god.

And that will prove to be his undoing.
